Successful teamwork between parents and educators is important to us because it reflects on the child's development.
That's why we have a culture of teamwork at Whispering Pines Family Child Care. There is constant interaction between parents and educators as we plan excursions, common activities, and parties. It is also important that parents provide their children with the tools they need to be succesful, both at home and at childcare. Examples of this is providing children with slippers, seasonal clothing, an extra change of clothes, diapers/wipes, and most importantly reinforcing at home whatever behavioral or educational curriculum they have learned at childcare.
Our Current Parent-Teacher Projects Are:
Care package items that soldiers have requested.
Monthly order of Scholastic Books.
Pumpkin hayride and farmer tour in October.
Halloween dress-up party at playgroup.
We're always grateful for support above and beyond the call of duty.
